Born on November 1, 1985, in Evergreen Park, Justin was the beloved son of Edward and Janet (Sinkauskas) Wojtkowski. He spent part of his childhood in Crestwood before moving with his family to Plainfield in 1995, where he formed lifelong friendships and became known for his outgoing and cheerful personality.
Justin graduated from Plainfield South High School in 2004 and went on to study Industrial Mechanical Maintenance at Joliet Junior College.
He later served honorably in the United States Army, earning several commendations including the Iraq Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. His military service reflected the discipline, strength, and dedication that defined his life.
Following his time in the Army, Justin worked as a field mechanic for ExxonMobil, where he was respected for his technical skills, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others.
Above all, Justin was a devoted father. He shared a special bond with his daughter, Marley, who was the center of his life. Those who knew him best remember him as caring, dependable, and full of life, with a sense of humor that could brighten any moment.
He is survived by his daughter Marley; his mother Janet; his brothers Joshua (Lauren) and Jason (Jenna); his nephew Jack; and his niece London. He was preceded in death by his father Edward, his maternal grandfather Joseph Sinkauskas, and his paternal grandparents Robert and Irene Wojtkowski.
Family and friends will gather to honor his life on June 6, 2026, at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Cremation rites have been accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
Justin Tyler Wojtkowski will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his service, his laughter, and the love he shared so freely with his family and friends.
